Ocean Lube
Website Launch

A modern e-commerce website built to grow direct-to-customer sales.

Project Overview

Ocean Lube is an anti-chafing cream designed for swimmers, surfers, and triathletes, helping athletes stay comfortable during training and competition. This project involved developing a brand-new e-commerce website to give the brand its own dedicated online store and create a stronger direct-to-customer experience.

We worked with the brand to take its online sales from Etsy to a fully branded website, creating a platform that better reflected the Ocean Lube identity while making it easier for customers to discover and purchase the product.

Our Strategy

We developed a modern e-commerce website from the ground up, creating a user-friendly shopping experience built around the Ocean Lube brand and its target audience.

The website was designed to clearly communicate the product, its benefits, and how it can be used, while providing a simple and streamlined purchasing journey. Moving away from Etsy also gave the brand greater control over its online presence, customer experience, and future growth.

Results

We successfully launched Ocean Lube’s new e-commerce website, transitioning the brand from Etsy to a fully owned WordPress store. Since launching, the website has generated 1,000+ online orders, establishing a strong direct-to-customer sales channel and significantly expanding the brand’s online presence.

The new platform has also given Ocean Lube greater control over its branding, customer journey, and online sales, providing a long-term foundation for continued growth.

Really happy with our website and how it all came together. The end result feels professional, modern, and perfectly aligned with our brand.
